MEI is on track for obtaining ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 certificates in the 2016 calendar year. ISO 14001 is an Environmental Management System standard and Stage 1 and 2 Audit activities for MEI are scheduled to complete in November.
MEI on track for ISO 13485 Certification Audit
MEI is currently preparing to obtain ISO 13485 certification. Stage 1 and 2 audit activities are scheduled for July and October of 2016. We look forward to better serving our customers in the medical industry.
MEI Valentine’s Day Community Outreach
This Valentine’s Day, MEI employees shared some good will and spent their breaks and lunch making valentine cards in support of the children of the YWCA, an organization dedicated to helping individuals break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness.

MEI Employees celebrated the holidays at the Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad. This venue was particularly enjoyed as it brought focus to the pride MEI employees take in the craftsmanship of everything they build. We highly recommend this museum to all San Diego locals and anyone with a passion for building and manufacturing.
